Welcome!

The mission of Montessori Western Teacher Training Program is to facilitate the development of the “whole” adult. Our approach is to present the Montessori Method as an open-ended system designed to foster autonomy. We support this model by providing a related group of varied experiences that are congruent, on an adult level, with the child’s experience and growth in a Montessori setting.

Maybe buy myself a house. Have a collection of work that I'm fond of. I think so. When I first wrote 'Party,' it was like the third song I wrote for the new album. Ages ago. I could hear the chorus, the way it's presented on the record, as I was writing it — I wanted to have some female support, I wanted there to be like a shrill desperation that I didn't want to do myself. I wasn't trying to make anything specific — well I was trying to make something specific that I wanted to make. Specifically what I felt like making.

When it comes to a specific sound, I don't feel like there's something I need to worry about. I'd much rather do something creative and credible. Like, 'Who am I? What am I trying to say? What do I stand for? I wasn't. I mean, every so often I'd be like 'Does this need something? I wrote it very quickly and confidently. And then I didn't question it. It's about my relationship with addiction, mainly booze. This was like — I'm not mad at myself, I'm not. I'm not like, struggling. But it was kind of going 'Hey I guess I've got to go.

Sounds better than Tidal though with Party being particularly moving on the turntable. She was always great and now the world is catching up to this news.

She managed to pull off the improbable and that was to exceed expectations. A top 5 best album of the year candidate with 6 months to go. I am convinced. An absolutely stunning, riveting, and sublime record. Aldous manages to stir joy, revulsion, and ennui in equal amounts in the very intimate songs on Party. I love her! Every song is good. I haven't liked an album so much in a long time.

An arresting experience. Strange and beautiful. Highly recommended. Format: MP3 Music. Aldous Harding doesn't do your work for you. You need to bring an open mind, longing, anger, humor, bitterness, curiosity, wonder, and humility.

I just saw her in Chicago and was awed. She's like lightning: here now, there the next moment, always amazing and shocking, always a little scary. Sometimes a lot scary. The album doesn't capture her live presence, but if you sit down and listen and listen hard, you can hear her intensity. The hit on this one, "Horizon," cuts deeper with each listening. It's a song ripped bleeding from the heart. I pity the guy she would say this to.

At least he knows where he stands. You see into her soul--as much as she wants you to, as much as she allows. No point in trying to capture the essence of every song.

Any attempt will fall short. I've never seen a musician dive so deep into herself that she appears unaware of her audience, and the next moment joke with the us. That's who's singing these songs, that's who wrote them: a woman who's living in a world a little to the side of ours but intersecting at the most sensitive and, often, most painful points.

You're not going to get songs with hooks, songs you'll sing in the shower. You'll get electrified. Artists like this are rare, rarer than great entertainers. It's kind of a listen-for-your-own-good kind of thing. Aldous Harding. Retrieved 22 February Radio NZ. • I think there's an excitement, like a positive excitement. The 'drag me back to hell' line, that's me saying 'you can try to take it away from me I like doing it.

Going to be a big star. Not actually going to be a star but, you know, I want to be able to take my mom on holiday. Maybe buy myself a house. Have a collection of work that I'm fond of. Do I really love this album as much as I think I do or am I just going through a phase? What you read in other reviews about Aldous Hannah is true for me too - original, haunting, uplifting, fascinating. I listen to the album in awe. I hope she keeps her feet on the ground and and writes more sublime stuff.

Seen her twice live, initially I was not impressed had never heard her before but was applauding by the end when I got what she was about. I'll be buying a ticket if she comes round again and I know she will cos I'm in Aotearoa! Format: Vinyl Verified Purchase. You only have to watch Aldous singing to know you are dealing with an artist full of emotion and talent.
